Aviation Safety
When it comes to the aviation industry, aviation safety is one of the biggest priorities and concerns. And from balloons, parachutes, hang gliders, para gliders, charter planes, helicopters, commercial jets, and more, aviation safety includes a large variety of concerns. In fact, each different country that has aviation regulations for safety, including strict regulations regarding air traffic control.
When it comes to air traffic control and aviation safety, their job is to make sure that airplanes and other forms of aviation are operated safely and that there is no risk of collision or other problems. Air traffic controllers are used to coordinate flights and to monitor the skies to ensure aviation safety for all people who are involved.
To maintain maximum aviation safety, air traffic controllers are usually divided into four types. This includes controllers who guide aircraft between airports; controllers in control towers who guide aircraft over small distances; controllers who guide aircraft over oceans and continents; and controllers who guide aircraft in wider areas, such as busy airports. Working together with other aviation safety specialists, these air traffic controllers work day in and day out to ensure that aviation is as safe as possible for all parties involved.
There are also other individuals and companies responsible for aviation safety, including but not limited to pilots, crew, airport staff, transportation security, and many more. For individuals, it is important to know and understand how you can remain safe when flying and what to do in case of an emergency.
