Aviation
Though we don’t always think of balloons, parachutes, hang gliders, and para gliders, general aviation actually includes all of these flight methods, and also includes, of course, charter planes, helicopters, commercial jets, and much, much more. And did you also know that each country has different regulations for aviation? But there are many similarities throughout the various countries where aviation is available.
One large concern for any country, company, or individual involved in the aviation industry is safety. In fact, safety is an ever increasing aspect of successful aviation and there are more regulations being enacted to make sure that aviation is as safe as possible for all of the different parties involved. And with all of this focus on safety, there is good news: From airport security to new advances in aircraft technology, aviation is now safer than ever.
This does not, however, mean that aviation comes with no risks at all. The best way to ensure that you are safe in your aviation endeavors is to make sure that you have sufficient knowledge about your situation and that you know what to do in case of an emergency. Knowing how to react when faced with an emergency is the first step towards being able to come out of that emergency in safely. And while many of us think that this is the pilot and crew’s responsibility, there are also many thinks the passengers can do too, such as know where the emergency exits are and pay attention to the safety instructions.
